Benny Boy – “Gotta Go”

Director: Larry Earl M

Genre: Green Screen Composition Music Video

“ Gotta Go” is a music video that I shot and directed on a green screen background. The recording artist Benny Boy had an idea to shot this music video on green screen using nothing but stock footage. It took about three hours setting up equipment, e.g. green backdrop, lighting and camera. The concept of the music video is of him saying that there are places he rather goes and sees than to be stuck up under someone. Yet, letting that person know that he will be back soon. Overall, the process of completing this project took about three to four weeks.

Golden Gloves

Director & DP: Larry Earl M

Genre: 20-30sec Commercial

I had the opportunity to film at Barry’s Gym located in Las Vegas. Barry’s Gym is home of Golden Gloves and Silver Gloves, which is a professional boxing gym. The boxers in this commercial consist of young males age ranging from 14-18. I went into this commercial with the mindset of filming shots that I know would make a great advertising commercial. My shots consisted of the wrapping of the hands, young boxers training with their trainers and them fighting in the ring. I filmed this commercial using a 5D III with a 85mm lens and a 24mm lens. The project was shot in one day and it took me about half a day to edit.
